Location: Bransgore (Nr Christchurch)

Salary: Starting from 12.50ph

Hours: Part-time, 3/4 days a week - 16-24 hours to include occasional weekend work.

At Woodside Lodge we provide exceptional care to our residents, and we need a Care Home Administrator who can ensure our operations run smoothly while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Who are we?



Woodside Lodge Residential Care Home is set in the heart of the tranquil New Forest, 10 minutes from the historic town of Christchurch. We are a family run privately owned Residential Care Home established in 1983 and have earned a very highly esteemed reputation for offering quality residential care.

We specialise in Dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's care and have over 40 years' experience enriching our resident's lives.

What You'll Be Doing



Assisting the Home Manager with all aspects of administration. Coordinating staff rotas and ensuring efficient communication within the Care Home. Preparing and maintaining all starter and leaver paperwork, including references and DBS checks, induction and training documentation. Maintain an efficient and tidy filing system for all Woodside Lodge related paperwork as well as staff personal files and computerised/database systems. Ensure all necessary records are maintained and are up to date, ensuring there is an audit trail. Providing secretarial support to the Home Manager by typing correspondence, minutes, memos and other documentation, answering letters and arranging appointments. Supporting the management team with Care Planning and reviews. Implementing and creating activity schedules including organising seasonal events throughout the year. Preparing resident and staff newsletters throughout the year. Presenting a professional and caring first contact for all those who visit or telephone Woodside Lodge. Handling enquiries from residents, families and external agencies. Taking an active role in marketing Woodside Lodge, providing initial information and best advice to all enquiries and referrals. To collate monthly reports for presentation to the Home Manager and other relevant personnel. To manage contracts to ensure that they meet resident / family member satisfaction and ensuring that they meet the needs of the business. Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and maintaining high standards of service.

Who We're Looking For



Strong organizational and communication skills both written and verbal Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions, showcasing exceptional phone etiquette. Experience in healthcare or care home administration (preferred but not essential) Knowledge of care sector regulations and best practices Proficiency in IT skills using Microsoft Office applications and administrative systems A compassionate and professional approach to supporting staff and residents. Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
