We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic administrator with previous experience in the care sector to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our care home, supporting both our manager and the staff team.
Key Responsibilities:
General administrative duties - including supporting the manager with care records & compliance documentation, audits, recruitment and HR admin, DBS checks, staff supervision, meeting minutes etc
Finance administration to provide accurate financial information to payroll, managing timely payment of client accounts, care home utilities, checking invoices, ensuring income and outgoings are timely, effective and accurately recorded.
Meeting and liasing with and visitors and external agencies in a helpful and professional manner.
To deal with customer requests, queries in an efficient and effective manner,
Any other duties that the home may require.
Qualifications:
Previous experience care home administration essential.
Strong IT skills-must be familiar with the microsoft office applications and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
Good numeracy, writing skills & business skills acumen.
Well organised and able to prioritise.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Hardworking and team working skills.
An ability to learn new skills and develop within the role.
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake one.
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have the right to work in the UK, with 6-12 months care or support professional experience within the UK, with a 5yr checkable work history with a minimum of 3 years professional referencing. We cannot accept care or support of family members as experience. Due to the nature of this service, some roles be temp to perm, in which case you may start on a temporary contract then once you have established good solid relationships with the service users you will transfer over to a permanent contract.
