We're seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our small, friendly team at Ocean Living Care Home in Mumbles. Your freshly prepared meals will bring warmth, comfort, and happiness to our residents every day.

About Ocean Living

Situated on the picturesque Mumbles seafront, Ocean Living is a 14-bed residential home providing high-quality care for older adults, including those living with dementia. We pride ourselves on our family-style environment, where kindness, teamwork, and home-cooked food are at the heart of everything we do.

Your Role

As our Cook, you'll take responsibility for preparing and serving wholesome, home-style meals that meet residents' nutritional and personal preferences.

Main duties include:

Preparing and serving tasty, well-balanced meals and desserts Adjusting recipes for residents with allergies or specific dietary needs Following kitchen hygiene, safety, and food storage regulations Managing ingredients and stock efficiently within budget Supporting a pleasant and sociable mealtime experience

What You'll Bring

? A genuine love for food and people
? Experience in a catering or care home kitchen (preferred)
? Understanding of dietary needs and allergens
? Food Hygiene Level 2 (essential)
? Food Hygiene Level 3 / HACCP (desirable)
? Friendly, dependable, and organised approach
