We are looking for a Part-Time Cook to join our friendly team at Ocean Living Care Home in Mumbles. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking wholesome meals and wants their work to genuinely make a difference.

Your meals will play a key role in residents' wellbeing, comfort, and enjoyment each day.

About Ocean Living Care Home

Ocean Living is a 14-bed residential care home located on the beautiful Mumbles seafront. We support older adults, including people living with dementia, in a warm, family-style environment where kindness, teamwork, and home-cooked food are central to daily life.

The Role

As the Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, home-style meals that meet residents' dietary and personal needs.

Key duties include:

Preparing and serving well-balanced meals and desserts Catering for special diets, allergies, and individual preferences Following food hygiene, health & safety, and kitchen procedures Managing stock, ingredients, and food storage efficiently Supporting a positive and sociable mealtime experience

What We're Looking For

A genuine passion for cooking and supporting others Experience in a catering or care home kitchen preferred Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergens

Food Hygiene Level 2 - essential

Food Hygiene Level 3 / HACCP - desirable Reliable, organised, and friendly approach
