Business Development Partner - Care Home Pharmacy



looking for dispenser / business partner for care home pharmacy in London

Core Duties & Responsibilities



Business Growth & Development



o

Generate new business through proactive calls, visits, and relationship building with care homes, GPs, and local health services.

o

Retain and expand existing care home partnerships; support them in opening new branches or services.

o

Identify and develop new business opportunities, including:

o

Interim supply solutions

o

Dossette box services for local patients

o

Care home services (flu & COVID vaccinations, other eligible NHS/private services)

o

Online prescriptions for patients

Operations & Compliance



o

Ensure all activities are fully compliant with GPhC, NHS, and MHRA regulations.

o

Source and negotiate lowest possible purchasing prices for medicines and supplies.

o

Collaborate with the superintendent pharmacist to develop innovative, patient-focused services.

Innovation & Service Expansion



o

Explore opportunities in online pharmacy models (private prescriptions, telehealth support, repeat prescriptions).

o

Identify care home-specific needs and design tailored solutions to increase satisfaction and loyalty.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,000.00-35,000.00 per year
