Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality care within our care home. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for senior care, ensuring that all residents receive personalised attention and support. This role requires effective communication and the ability to drive a team towards achieving care plans that enhance the wellbeing of our residents.

Duties



Lead and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to the needs of each resident. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adjust care plans accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care and staff performance. Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence among residents. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies. Participate in training and development initiatives for staff to enhance their skills in senior care.

Requirements



Proven experience in a leadership role within a care home or similar setting is essential. Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to drive their implementation effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with diverse individuals. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to care management is advantageous. A compassionate approach towards senior care, demonstrating empathy and patience. Ability to supervise effectively while fostering teamwork among staff members. Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.21-15.00 per hour
