Overview of Victor Street
We serve a community of 12,200 people in the West of Southampton in an urban area, and pride ourselves in delivering patient-first care alongside ambitious and innovative clinical and strategic leadership
Our clinical team consists of 6 GPs, 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners who deliver a mix of same day and long-term condition care, and do our acute home visits, and an excellent Practice Nursing Team who take the lead on managing long term conditions.

General
Care Navigation: signposting patients to appropriate health and social care services
General Reception duties: operating busy telephone lines, greeting patients, responding to enquiries, both virtually and in person, and appointment coordination Facilitating patient safety and comfort around the surgery
Prescription requests
New patient registrations
Processing of documents i.e., discharge summaries, clinic letters, patient correspondence
Liaising with healthcare professionals and external agencies
Taking payments for non-NHS work
Filing
Workflow and scripts - basic tasks
Scheduling patient follow ups
Processing basic referrals i.e., Domiciliary and District Nursing Care & Waste Collection
Other duties as required in the support of the running of the Practice.
Team Behaviour

Person Specification
Qualifications:
Essential
Demonstrable commitment to professional and personal development
Ability to use Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Educated to GCSE Grade A-C maths & English or equivalent
Desirable
Enrolled in, undertaking, or have qualified in appropriate Practice Administration training
Experience:
Essential
Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
Desirable
Primary care experience.
TPP SystmOne knowledge.
Experience of working within multi-professional team environments.
