Job Description

We are currently seeking to appoint two part time Care Navigator / Receptionist at East Shore Partnership Surgery, Portsmouth.

15 Hours per week to be worked Thursday 13.00 to 18.30 and Friday 08.00 to 18.30

16.5 Hours per week to be worked Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 13.00 to 18.30

(Please note these hours are non-negotiable)

As a Care Navigator / Receptionist you will receive and handle calls and face to face requests, and queries from patients, resolve queries with GPs and liaise with other practice staff. You will complete a variety of administrative tasks as part of this role. Experience of using SystmOne would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be very team-spirited, customer-oriented and an excellent problem solver. You will provide an excellent service to our registered patients and other service users, maintaining confidential patient records. Meticulous attention to detail and excellent customer service skills are essential for this role as is the ability to be calm and sensitive when dealing with patients face to face and on the telephone.

Previous experience working in this role or in a Health Care setting is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.

East Shore Partnership based in Portsmouth, consists of two surgery sites; Baffins Surgery and Milton Park Surgery. We serve over 14,000 patients within the local area and are part of the Brunel Primary Care Network.
