Job Overview:
As a Care Support Worker at West Midlands Home Care (WMHC) LTD, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to individuals within their homes in Birmingham and surrounding areas. Your dedication to providing support and assistance will contribute to maintaining the independence and well-being of our clients.

Location:

Areas such as

Sparkhill, Sparkbrook, Small heath, Tyseley, Hall green, Moseley, Yardley, Sheldon and Accocks green

Duties:
- Provide personalized care to individuals based on their unique needs and care plans
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
- Perform household tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Implement dementia care strategies for clients with cognitive impairments
- Provide senior care services with respect and dignity
- Deliver hospice care services with empathy and understanding

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.

- Certification: First Aid and CPR certification is required.

- Knowledge: Familiarity with patient care techniques, dementia care, and medication protocols.

- Attributes: Compassionate, empathetic, and skilled in effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare providers.

- Additional Skills Experience with eldercare, childcare, or dementia care is beneficial.
