Job Title:
Care & Support Worker - Nights
Summary:
Join a dedicated team providing overnight care and support to vulnerable individuals in a London residential setting. Deliver compassionate care while maintaining safety and dignity throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver person-centred care and practical support during night shifts
Assist clients with mobility, personal hygiene, medication and daily living tasks
Monitor wellbeing, respond promptly to emergencies and ensure a safe environment
Maintain accurate records and update care plans as required
Collaborate with colleagues, families and external healthcare professionals
Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality and health and safety policies
Support emotional wellbeing and promote independence wherever possible
Required Qualifications:
Experience in care and support work, ideally within a residential setting
Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality procedures
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a night team
Strong communication and observation skills
Right to work in the UK and satisfactory enhanced DBS check
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Flexible attitude and reliable approach to shift work
Nice-to-have:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
