Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance and care to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support in various settings, including senior care, home care, and childcare environments.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and guidelines. Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving them to appointments or activities as required. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and hygiene. Develop positive relationships with clients and their families, fostering trust and open communication. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to first aid, caregiving techniques, and other relevant areas.

Experience

Previous experience in senior care or home care is highly desirable. Familiarity with meal preparation and dietary requirements is beneficial. Experience in medication administration is an advantage. A valid driving licence is essential with your own transport
