JOB OPPURTUNITIES AT AN EXCITING NEW RESPITE HOTEL IN TREFNANT.

We are looking to recruit support staff to work at our new respite hotel.

We are looking for daytime and night time staff.

About us:

We are a dedicated respite care service providing compassionate and person centred support for individuals living with dementia. Our aim is to give families and loved ones a well deserved break while ensuring that those we support feel safe, valued and cared for.

Job role:

As a support worker you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals living with dementia. You will provide practical help with daily living, encourage independence where possible and create meaningful opportunities for social interaction and wellbeing.

Responsibilities will include:

- Supporting individuals with daily routines and personal care

- Encourage engagement in activities tailored to interests and abilities

- Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition

- Promoting dignity, independence and choice

- Maintain accurate records and reporting any concerns

- Working closely with families, carers and colleagues to provide consistent care

What we are looking for:

- Compassion, patience and a genuine desire to support individuals living with dementia

- Good communication and listening skills

- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative

- Reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude

- Experience in care and dementia support is desirable, training provided

- Level 2 in social care is desirable however training opportunities can be provided

- Welsh speaking and driving licence is desirable
