Job Description

We are currently looking for experienced team members to support our clients, whose conditions vary from dementia, autism, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. The support will primarily be personal cares and assistance around their homes.

We provide all required training for

FREE

. We also provide one to one guidance for staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Job responsibilities:

To assist service users in their own home with general day to day tasks such as personal care, washing and dressing, meal preparation and assisting with medications.

Report any incidents or concerns to management and follow protocol as specified in the policies and procedures.

Befriending the service user to a professional capacity, understanding their needs and helping them to become more independent.

Essential Requirements:

A genuine desire to help others.

Good communication skills. The ability to understand and respond to verbal and nonverbal communications.

Ability to remain calm and manage situations effectively in any time of crisis.

Continuity in carrying out good practice.

Flexible and adaptable.

Driving license and use of a vehicle for work.

Communicating in a friendly patient manner.

Desirable Requirements:

NVQ level 2 in health and social care.

Training and experience in working with individuals with challenging behaviour.

Counselling skills.
