About the Role:
We are seeking to appoint a Residential Support Worker Bank staff to join our motivated teams to deliver high and consistent standards of care and support in our homes for children with emotional or behavioural difficulties (EBD) in Gloucestershire.
You will be responsible for working as part of a team to provide support, understanding and nurturing, and to provide a positive role model for the children and young people placed in our care.
Your duties & responsibilities will include recording, attending meetings and adhering to the policies and procedures within the Home. You will need to engage with children offering guidance, support and structure to their everyday lives and above all inspire them to reach their full potential.
Other duties would include providing transport for the children to access different provisions, education settings & days out (e.g., social events, shopping, cinema, swimming), Contacts, visits, key work meetings and therapy sessions.
You Will Have:
One year's previous childcare experience in a residential setting is desirable.
Level 3 Diploma in residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
A commitment to delivering high quality care according to OFSTED regulations.
Hold a current UK Driving Licence.
