In this dynamic role, you will provide support to children, families, and carers in both home and community settings, especially during times of crisis.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily routines, offering mentoring, and guiding families through various challenges. This position allows you to engage in diverse support tasks, whether it's aiding a family in a hospital, supervising contact sessions, or helping a young person build confidence and stay safe.

Prior experience in caring for children or young people is essential, but don't worry; our friendly team will provide support every step of the way.
Your first shift can even be a shadow shift to help you get acclimatised.Since our roles are community-based, you will need to travel to meet with children, young people, and their carers.
A driving licence and access to a car are advantageous, and we will cover travel expenses for any mileage incurred during your shifts.
To ensure the safety of the vulnerable children and young people you will work with, you will need to obtain an Enhanced DBS check with the Disclosure and Barring Service on the update service.
Rest assured, we will cover your on-the-job training costs.We are looking for individuals who hold a minimum of one year's experience in support work, possess a Level 3 safeguarding qualification, and have GCSE or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in health and social care.
