Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care/Support Worker - Team Leader to join our team located on the Rosneath Peninsula (G84 area). The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to Service Users within their own home. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in need.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist with meal preparation. Maintain accurate records of care provided Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of Service Users. Administer medication when necessary. To lead and support a team of care workers delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes Mentoring staff

Requirements

Previous experience in care settings is desirable but not required as training will be provided Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Service Users and their families. Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and understanding towards Service Users with diverse needs. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the dignity of Service Users at all times. Drivers license required due to geographic location.
