Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to our daughter who is 4 years old. She has complex needs including cerebral palsy, dystonia and epilepsy. The job will be to sit in her bedroom 10pm-6am while she sleeps monitoring her. Due to her condition she doesnt sleep through and wakes often for a few hours during the night. She is peg fed so nil by mouth you will need to administer food, water and medication if needed after the all training has been completed. We are looking for someone who is reliable and enjoys working with children and has patience.
This job is posted for Chorley Candidates will only be considered if they have the ability to commute or are willing to relocate to the job location.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care services such as dressing and toileting assistance. Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration. Assist with feeding when necessary. Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to parents Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Experience
Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not essential; training will be provided A valid driver's licence is desirable
