Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings, which may include home care, residential or nursing care, and assisted living environments. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personal care, companionship, and support with daily activities.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or activities. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Document daily activities and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in childcare, nursing home settings, home care, or senior care is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient care techniques and medication administration is an asset. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for transportation duties. A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to those in need.
