Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to my mum in her home environment. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for her with daily activities and medical needs. Prior experience in senior care, dementia care, or Alzheimer's care is highly desirable. Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medication accurately following prescribed care plans and medical terminology Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and preferences Support clients with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Manage behaviour effectively, especially as client has dementia Document care activities accurately and communicate any changes or concerns, Follow health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary

Qualifications

Previous experience in nursing home, care home, or home care environments preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures Certification in first aid is advantageous Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, or hospice care is highly desirable Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance or equipment use Strong organisational skills for managing care plans and behaviour management strategies Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families Compassionate attitude with a genuine commitment to patient-centred care

Pay: 24.42-146.52 per week
