Location: New Inn

Post 1- Hours: 25 per week (2 x 12.5 hour mainly night shifts)
Post 2- Hours: 13 per week (2 x 6.5 hour mainly day shifts)

Please note that flexibility to occasionally cover day or night shifts is required to meet service needs.

Day Hourly Rate 12.77

Night Hourly Rate 19.16

Weekend Hourly Rate 15.96- 19.16

Bank Holiday- double time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Day and Night Carer to join our healthcare team, supporting the Sisters living at our Convent in New Inn. This role involves working alongside nurses to provide high standards of person-centred care, ensuring the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of our Sisters.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow the guidance of our nurses to provide assistance and support with personal care and activities of daily living, promoting independence wherever possible. Administer medicines when required (following training and guidelines). Monitor, observe, and report changes in Sisters' conditions to the nurse in charge. Maintain accurate documentation and records Participate in training and personal development to enhance skills and quality of care. Escort Sisters to appointments and support them in external activities.

What We're Looking For:

A minimum of one year's care experience and training to QCF Level 2 A kind, patient, and empathetic approach with a genuine passion for caring for others. Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to delivering high-quality care. Good communication skills The ability to take the initiative and work well as part of a team. Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development.
