About the role

The morning shift at the earliest will be 06.30am and at the latest finish 11.30am. The afternoon/evening shift will start at the earliest 14.30pm and at the latest finish 21.30pm. We hope to appoint two caretakers who can share these shifts effectively between them.

Salary: Actual pro rated salary \xc2\xa310,209 per annum.

We are looking for two cheerful, motivated individuals with a \'can do\' attitude to work alongside the existing site team to provide an efficient and proactive caretaking service for our split site campus. You will be work across both trust sites in Hailsham.

The successful candidates will carry out a full range of duties to provide high standards of cleanliness, general caretaking and security including; opening and closing the premises, basic maintenance/repairs and waste management.

Normal working days will be Monday to Friday however you must be willing to work unsociable hours\' evenings and weekends and be available respond to various out of hours emergencies such as intruder alarm activations.

The role will include health and safety checks of the premises and the successful candidates will be expected to undertake relevant training. Previous experience of working as a caretaker in a school would be desirable.
