Duties:
- Ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely manner
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and storage of food supplies
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area
- Monitor food quality and presentation
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Skills:
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Supervising: Experience in supervising and managing kitchen operations
- Kitchen: Proficient in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and equipment usage
- Hospitality: Strong customer service skills and a focus on providing an exceptional dining experience for guests
- Food preparation: Knowledge of various cooking methods, techniques, and ingredients
- Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and cost control
- Food production: Ability to efficiently produce high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment
- Team management: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with and manage a diverse team of kitchen staff
- Food safety: Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment
- Cook: Proficient cooking skills across a variety of cuisines
This position requires good knowledge of the kitchen , culinary expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
