Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced carpenter and

Multi-Skilled Tradesperson

to join our growing property maintenance team. Operating across

Kent and East Sussex

, the successful candidate will carry out a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance tasks on residential and commercial properties, including works related to

block management

.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting

general maintenance

, repairs, and small refurbishments across a portfolio of properties. Repairing and installing fire-doors, door-frames, skirting etc. Attending to

reactive repairs

, both emergency and scheduled Carrying out

planned maintenance tasks

including decorating, minor plumbing, carpentry, tiling, plastering, flooring, and general building repairs. Performing

block management works

including communal area maintenance, external repairs, minor/major roofing work, and drainage issues. Reporting findings and completion of works . Ensuring all works are completed in compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards. Communicating effectively with property managers, tenants, and contractors. Representing the company in a professional manner at all times.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in a

multi-trade role

, ideally within property or block maintenance. 2 Years experience in carpentry. Competence in at least

two core trades

, such as plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting & decorating, or basic electrical work. Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance issues independently. Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. Full

UK driving licence

(Essential). Good communication and time management skills. Basic IT proficiency (for job reporting and communication).

Desirable:

Relevant qualifications or certifications in one or more trades. Previous experience working with residential letting agents, housing associations, or property management companies. Awareness of H&S regulations and risk assessments.
