Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and capable

Carpentry Improver

to assist with high-quality flat refurbishments across Central London. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with good site experience who isn't fully qualified but can confidently carry out basic carpentry and general building tasks under supervision.

The successful candidate will be working alongside our core team and subcontractors, contributing to everything from partition assembly and timber flooring installation to fitting skirting and trims.

Responsibilities

Assist with internal fit-out and finishing works on residential refurbishments Carry out tasks such as: Laying timber flooring Installing skirting and architraves Assembling stud partitions and general joinery Support skilled trades on-site and take instruction from site foreman or project manager Keep the working area tidy, safe, and organised Load out materials and assist with deliveries where needed Carry out minor snagging and general labouring where required
Requirements

Site experience

in residential refurbishment, ideally 1-3 years Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely and competently Confident with straightforward carpentry tasks Willingness to learn and follow direction Good attitude and reliability essential Basic tools and PPE preferred CSCS card beneficial but not essential Albanian-speaking helpful due to team composition on site

Pay: 130.00-155.00 per day
