Carpenter Improver

Job Description

We are looking for a Carpenter improver to join our small friendly firm. We largely carry out loft conversions as well as knock throughs, renovations , garden rooms and kitchen installation.

If you were to be chosen to join our team your duties would include,



First and second fix carpentry.

Demolition when required.

Installation of steels and associated work.

Taking delivery of materials.

Keeping the site clean and tidy.

We expect everyone on site to get stuck in with all jobs, from site manager to labourer.

The chosen candidate would be,



Keen and hardworking.

Have Impeccable time keeping. Work hours are 8 until 4.00 pm

Looking to progress within the company ( we are growing fast and for the right candidate promotion to site manager is likely.)

Polite and presentable.

Not be looking at their phone all day.

Not be expecting cigarette breaks. Your breaks are 30 mins at 10 am, 30 mins at 1pm

Have your own tools. (at the vary least hand tools and an impact driver, skill saw etc.)

Having your own vehicle is essential.
