What You'll Be Doing
As a
Case Handler
, you'll be at the heart of our
vehicle hire and repair process
, supporting clients after a
non-fault road traffic accident
. Your responsibilities will include:
Handling your own
caseload of vehicle repair and hire claims
.
Coordinating
urgent vehicle recovery, secure storage, and repair bookings
.
Determining clients'
eligibility for hire vehicles
and arranging bookings.
Reviewing
defendant evidence
and preparing rebuttals.
Communicating with
body shops to agree repair rates and schedules
.
Meeting
deadlines and targets
while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
This role is
fully office-based in Byker, Newcastle
, working
40 hours per week
(Monday to Friday,
9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
). You'll also be part of a rota covering the occasional
late shift until 8:00 PM
and
one in three weekend shifts
.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for motivated, proactive individuals with a passion for delivering
excellent customer service
. Ideally, you'll bring:
Experience in customer service
(contact centre experience is a plus!).
Strong
communication skills
- both written and verbal.
A
proactive approach
to prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
A
keen eye for detail
and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work both
independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in
claims handling, case management, or working to KPIs
is an advantage but not essential!
