, making it ideal for candidates from legal, administrative, financial or investigative backgrounds.
You will be responsible for progressing cases from instruction through to resolution, identifying entitled beneficiaries and working closely with solicitors, local authorities and other professionals.
This is a specialist area of work, but
no previous probate genealogy or heir tracing experience is required
-- full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of estate and probate matters from start to completion
Conduct legal and family research using databases, records and official documentation
Analyse information to identify and verify entitled beneficiaries
Build and review family trees and supporting evidence
Liaise with solicitors, estate administrators, local authorities and beneficiaries
Prepare clear written reports and case updates
Ensure cases progress in line with deadlines and regulatory requirements
Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Experience in a case management, legal, administrative or professional services role
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities
Professional and empathetic approach
