We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and fully qualified Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team based at our prestigious venues in Bury St Edmunds. The Athenaeum & Apex.

The role:

As part of our cafe, events, and conference services, you'll be responsible for preparing modern, high-quality cuisine, using fresh, local produce to delight our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation. Develop and prepare innovative dishes, incorporating modern culinary trends. Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service during busy periods. Consistently deliver high-quality food for cafe visitors, event attendees, and conference guests. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment. A passion for creating innovative, high-quality dishes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining culinary excellence. A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
