Berks & Bucks FA is embarking on an exciting new chapter as we take our first steps into running and managing community facilities, with Cantley Park in Wokingham at the centre of our plans. We are developing Cantley Park into a vibrant hub for grassroots football, sport, and the local community, and we want you to be part of it.

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Casual Leisure Assistants to join our team and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the site.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a varied role where no two days are the same, helping to create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for everyone who visits.

About the Role

As a Leisure Assistant, you will:

Help set up pitches and facilities, ensuring they are presented safely and to a high standard. Carry out cleaning, basic maintenance, and statutory checks across the site. Support the running of the on-site cafe, including serving customers and preparing hot and cold drinks. Play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Support the Duty Manager and wider team with day-to-day operations and tasks. Be an ambassador for the facility, supporting Berks & Bucks FA's mission to empower communities through football.
What We're Looking For

A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in. Experience working in a customer-focused environment. Good communication skills and ability to engage with people from all backgrounds. Awareness of health & safety and safeguarding, with the ability to follow policies and procedures. Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to manage your time effectively. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
