Information for the role of Casual Rowing Coach

30 per session plus 3.62 holiday pay

An excellent opportunity to join the Downing College Boat Club in assisting in the training and coaching of rowers at all levels.





We are seeking flexible and reliable individuals with excellent communication skills to join the team on a Casual basis to help maintain a high standard of coaching for students.



The Casual Rowing Coach will be responsible for assisting in the training, development, and performance of rowers within the Downing College Boat Club. This includes planning and delivering structured training programs, coaching water and land sessions, preparing crews for Lent and May Bumps, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving team culture.

Details of the role

The post of Casual Rowing Coach is a casual role, so there are no guaranteed hours of work and there is no obligation to accept all shifts that may be offered. Shifts are offered on an 'as needed' basis, so this is a role that could fit around other commitments. Work may be offered for any day of the week, including weekends, and can be for late/early shifts.





The rate of pay is 30 per session plus 3.62 holiday pay.
