We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Catering Manager to oversee our on site catering operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, culinary arts, and leadership, ensuring that our catering services meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role requires a passion for food preparation and an ability to supervise kitchen and service staff effectively while maintaining food safety protocols.
The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving licence but not essential.
You will only work March to December and have a full 2 months off every year.
Duties
Plan and coordinate all aspects of catering events.
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques.
Collaborate with clients to understand their catering needs and provide exceptional service tailored to their requirements.
Manage inventory of food supplies and kitchen equipment.
Implement training programmes for kitchen staff to enhance their skills in food preparation and safety.
Monitor the quality of food served at events, ensuring it meets the established standards of excellence.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Handle any client inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen and service staff.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen setting.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, staff, and vendors.
A passion for delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
