Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Catering Manager to join our team.

As the Catering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our catering operations, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills and a passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer experience

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of catering operations, including planning, organizing, and executing service delivery

- Lead the catering team to deliver 5customer service every time
- Maintain high standards of service excellence

- Oversee food production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations

- Manage and administer site bookwork and administration

- Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff, with a focus on staff development

- Schedule staff shifts and assign duties to ensure smooth consistent serivce delivery

- Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly

- Monitor financial performance, analyze data, and implement strategies to improve profitability

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in catering or event management

- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including culinary and frontline operations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and staff members

- Proficient in computer software applications related to catering management (e.g teams, excell)

- Flexibility to work varying shift times to see and support / manage all aspects of service delivery
