We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and hospitality, along with exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a passion for delivering outstanding service and managing a team effectively to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Plan and coordinate catering events from conception to execution, ensuring all client requirements are met. Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and presentation standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage of food items. Lead and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols. Develop menus that reflect current trends while meeting dietary restrictions and preferences. Oversee service staff during events to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, striving for continuous improvement.

Experience

Proven experience in a catering management role or similar position within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen operations. Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential. Familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable. Experience as a barista or in serving roles can be advantageous. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong understanding of food safety standards and best practices.
