Catering Manager - Loughborough

We are looking for an experienced

Catering Manager

to lead the delivery of Catering services across site. You will ensure operational excellence, a positive safety culture, and compliance with all relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe environment and promote a strong safety culture. Manage all services to meet contractual, hygiene, and compliance standards (NHS, ISO, Food Hygiene). Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring clear objectives and performance management. Build strong client relationships through effective communication and reporting. Control budgets, labour, and stock to meet financial targets. Conduct audits, address non-compliance, and drive continuous improvement. Use company systems to manage schedules, compliance, and reporting. Provide cover for other managers and supervisors as needed.

About You:

Proven experience in facilities or soft services management. Strong leadership and communication skills. Solid understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements. Confident managing teams in a demanding environment.

Essential

Proven operational management experience within a catering environment with sound knowledge of procedural and legislative frameworks Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate Level 4. HACCP in practice. Excellent communication and team management experience. Sound financial acumen and experienced in managing budgets and growing sales Proven experience in managing direct teams to deliver high quality and customer service standards Computer literate and capable of using Microsoft packages Good standard of education
