The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and service, with a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of catering events, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality while leading a team to success.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all catering operations, including event planning, menu development, and execution. Manage kitchen staff and ensure effective team management to maintain a high level of service. Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions. Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service skills. Handle any issues or complaints that arise during events promptly and professionally.

Experience

Strong background in culinary arts or food preparation; experience as a cook is advantageous. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is required. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Exceptional communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
