Settle College is seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and experienced Catering Manager to lead our dedicated catering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the life of our school community and help shape the dining experience for our students and staff.

What you'll do:

Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team in a busy secondary school kitchen Prepare and cook food, ensuring smooth, efficient service feeding approximately 600 students and staff Oversee menu planning, food preparation and service to ensure high standards of quality and presentation Adapt menus for special dietary needs and promote healthy eating, manage rotas, stock control, and the catering budget Liaise with staff and students to continuously improve our catering provision Ensure full compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and allergen legislation, maintaining accurate records and leading on staff training

What we're looking for

:
Proven leadership and management skills within a catering environment (school or similar preferred)

Up-to-date knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergen regulations and experience with stock control, ordering, and budget management Excellent organisational and communication skills A commitment to delivering high standards and supporting the ethos of our school
