Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Catering tutor to join our team. We are searching for a patient, flexible and compassionate person who can bring structure and empathy in equal measure. You will be responsible for delivering tailored catering sessions whilst building a consistent, caring relationship that helps a student connect with learning at a pace and level that works for them. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to ensure that every session is a success.

Responsibilities

Plan and prepare lesson plans and deliver all aspects of catering training to young people. To deliver training to enable students to attain a Food Hygiene Certificate. Ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene are maintained. Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and available for meal preparation. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or requests from students promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation during events, fostering a positive working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering or a related field is preferred. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students and team members. Experience working with young people or in educational settings will be advantageous.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.60-16.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
