We are looking to recruit a CBT Therapist to cover both our Bristol Park Clinic and Bristol Hospital. This is a full-time permanent position, which is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality psychological therapy services within the services. We are looking for someone who can work part time or full time between 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week.



Bristol Park Clinic, near Bradley Stoke and Patchway, is easily accessible by car, bus, and train via the M4, M5, and Almondsbury Interchange. Just off the M32, Bristol Hospital is a Grade II listed building with free parking, offering 77 beds across seven wards. Services include Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorders treatment, acute care, rehabilitation, and recovery.

What you'll be doing





You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a CBT Therapist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.



You will also;Be working in the outpatient team to provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) assessment, formulation and treatment to clients. Work closely with other relevant professionals as appropriate. communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerns the assessment, formulation and treatment plans to clients. Undertake risk assessment and risk management of service users.

What you'll bring to the role

We're looking for someone with a Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology and BABCP accreditation, or who is working towards this. Alternatively, you might be a registered health professional with BABCP accreditation. You'll bring experience as a qualified CBT therapist or have a strong background in delivering CBT treatments in mental health settings. Most importantly, you'll feel confident supporting a wide range of clients with compassion and skill.
