Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our private CAMHS client in Wolverhampton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients between 10-18 years old, ensuring their mental and emotional well-being. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to develop and implement effective care plans, and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment for clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical

Responsible for delivering evidence-based CBT interventions to individuals with complex and enduring mental health needs, including trauma-related difficulties as well as neurodevelopmental conditions. Responsible for offering clinical input and consultation to the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT), contributing to team discussions and care planning. Engagement in service development, audit, and reflective practice alongside the wider therapy and mental health teams. To work closely with the Senior Psychologist and communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerning the assessment, formulation, and treatment plans to service users and their multidisciplinary professional team. To carry out the assessment, formulation and treatment planning for young people referred to the service. To provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to young people. To attend relevant meetings in relation to service user group and to give advice on referrals appropriate for CBT. To communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerning the assessment, formulation, and treatment plans to service users and their multidisciplinary professional team. To undertake risk assessment and risk management of service users.
