Priory Hospital Roehampton is looking to recruit a CBT Therapist to join the team. The services you will work across is Outpatient/Day Care position, as well as a small caseload of private and corporate outpatients in the area of your specialty. You will be expected to deliver a mixture of group therapy and 1:1 sessions. This is a full-time/ 37.5 hours role.
We support people facing a wide range of mental health challenges, providing specialist care for depression, anxiety and addictions. Our team offers tailored treatment for substance addictions, including alcohol, cocaine, and heroin, as well as behavioural addictions like gambling. We also provide outpatient support for adults with eating disorders.

What you'll be doing

As a CBT Therapist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of patients.You will work alongside patients experiencing common mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, and ADHD.
Opportunities exist to learn and develop skills in psychotic and other more acute conditions.
Ability to formulate treatment plans and familiarity with outcome measures are essential.
Working knowledge of at least one additional therapy modality is desirable.
Experience with DBT or EMDR is beneficial, with training available through our supportive CPD programme.

We have a wonderful opportunity for a CBT therapist to join our friendly, well-established and experienced therapy team. There are full-time and part-time posts available as we are growing the service. We welcome applications from therapists who are suitably qualified and BABCP registered, but who are still working toward their accreditation with the BABCP.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, flexible, and an excellent team-player. Strong communication skills and the ability to work within an MDT is essential. This role is unique in that it offers you the opportunity to work across multiple service lines whilst maintaining a reasonable and manageable case load tailored to your strengths as well as the areas you wish to grow in.
