APK Demolition & Remediation Ltd is a leading contractor specialising in Demolition and Remediation services. Due to an increase in workload, we are seeking an experienced

CCDO Demolition Supervisor

to join our team for projects in and around central Scotland.

Role Overview

As a Demolition Supervisor, you will assist Contract Managers throughout the lifecycle of projects. You will manage site teams, ensure compliance with method statements and site file requirements, and maintain high standards of safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and problem solver, capable of making informed decisions on-site in conjunction with contract management.

Key Responsibilities

Daily supervision of site activities and motivation of operatives/labourers Planning and allocating workload for site teams Ensuring compliance with risk assessments, method statements, and inspection/test plans Implementing health and safety procedures and conducting safety inspections Completing all site paperwork associated with the Supervisor role Liaising daily with Contracts Management Preparing reports, toolbox talks, daily briefings, site diaries, and other documentation Client liaison as required

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 5 years' experience in the demolition industry Previous experience as a Demolition Supervisor CCDO Demolition Supervisor Gold Card (held for at least 2 years) Demolition Awareness NVQ SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable) First Aid certificate (desirable) Asbestos Awareness (essential) Full UK driving licence Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel and stay away when required
