Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor to oversee and manage demolition projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and demolition, demonstrating leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations. This role requires the ability to coordinate teams, manage resources effectively, and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.

MUST HAVE CCDO card.

IPAF card and PASMA card desired but not essential.

Duties

Supervise demolition activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Plan and coordinate demolition projects, including scheduling and resource allocation. Conduct site inspections to assess progress and ensure adherence to project specifications. Lead a team of workers, providing guidance and support throughout the demolition process. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate project updates and address any concerns. Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs and incident reports. Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment on-site.

Skills

Strong experience with hand tools and power tools essential for demolition tasks. Knowledge of fabrication techniques relevant to demolition projects. Excellent leadership abilities with strong communication skills to effectively manage teams. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations. A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
