Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer networking, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge, with hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems, towing cctv trailers, and maintaining cctv towers. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure the effective design and implementation of security solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and implement CCTV systems tailored to client specifications. Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, recording devices, and associated hardware. Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of existing systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions. Read and interpret schematics for system design and installation processes. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely during installation and maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and system upgrades. Stay updated on the latest technologies in CCTV systems and related fields such as intrusion detection systems (IDS) and telecommunications. Driving with towing cctv towers around central scotland, b+e driving licence required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in CCTV installation and maintenance is essential. Strong understanding of computer networking principles. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and power tools. Electrical experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with system design principles related to security installations. Ability to read and understand technical schematics. Previous experience in construction or telecommunications is an advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
