Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled CCTV Engineer to join our team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of surveillance systems across various sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in electrical systems, computer networking, and system design, with the ability to interpret schematics and work effectively with hand and power tools. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects within the security and telecommunication sectors, ensuring the integrity and functionality of CCTV infrastructure.

Responsibilities



Install, configure, and commission CCTV systems in accordance with project specifications and schematics. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing surveillance equipment to ensure optimal performance. Integrate CCTV systems with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) and other security infrastructure. Work collaboratively with construction teams during site development to facilitate seamless system integration. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system design documents to guide installation processes. Perform electrical wiring, cable management, and telecommunication connections adhering to safety standards. Test system functionality post-installation or repair, ensuring compliance with operational requirements. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including system configurations and modifications.

Requirements



Proven experience in CCTV system installation, maintenance, or repair. Strong knowledge of computer networking principles relevant to surveillance systems. Mechanical knowledge related to construction sites or equipment assembly is advantageous. Familiarity with computer hardware components used within security systems. Electrical experience including wiring, circuit diagrams, and power supply management. Ability to read and interpret schematics and system design documents accurately. Experience working with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) is desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools safely. Knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure relevant to CCTV deployment. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments requiring construction or technical expertise. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 17.60-19.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
