Overview

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, and maintenance of CCTV systems. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking, system design, and mechanical knowledge to ensure the effective operation of surveillance systems. The CCTV Engineer will work closely with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.

Duties

Assembly of CCTV Towers Carry out installation and commission on access control systems within a geographical area Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Knowledge of solar panel installation and configuration with the CCTV tower. Install and configure cameras, recording devices, and associated equipment using hand tools and power tools. Respond to fault calls on all types of CCTV Conduct regular maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Plan and respond to routine and re-active call visits in your area when required Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CCTV systems, including connectivity problems within computer networking frameworks. Any other reasonable requests from the management to meet the needs of the business Collaborate with clients to assess their security requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. Stay updated on the latest technologies in CCTV and security systems to provide innovative solutions.

Skills

Proficient in CCTV installation and maintenance techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools effectively. ECS / CSCS Card or Health & Safety and Site Safety course qualifications desirable, but not essential as this can be arranged. Familiarity with computer networking principles to ensure seamless integration of surveillance systems. Experience in system design tailored to specific client needs. Ability to telecommunicate effectively with clients for troubleshooting and support purposes. Knowledge of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) is an advantage. Understanding of electrical systems as they relate to CCTV installations is beneficial. Full UK driving licence Good work ethic and be able to encourage other to do well Want to be part of growing engineering team and being involved in some great installations/clients
