Salary

: 30,000 to 34,000 per annum (dependant on experience), in addition to uncapped commission opportunities and overtime compensation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, upgrade, and maintain CCTV and security systems for both construction and commercial customers. Carry out Installation on site as per instruction. System reconfigurations. System Decommissions. Engage in training to ensure up to date knowledge of product. Maintain and adhere to Health & Safety Regulations at all times. Communicate effectively with the team, customers and third parties taking ownership of user requests and escalating more complex service issues to the relevant team member when required. Plan and undertake scheduled routine maintenance checks and upgrades.

REQUIREMENTS (ESSENTIAL)

3-year minimum experience working within a similar technical role. Being self-motivated and organised. A logical approach to problem solving. Analytical skills. Communicating effectively via email, phone and in person working both independently and as a team. A willingness to undertake additional responsibilities. Learning quickly and adapting to complex concepts. An honest and discreet approach to confidential information. Prioritising and balancing multiple tasks. Ability to work at height. Full UK driving licence with no points or pending convictions. Active CSCS card, and experience working on construction sites.

REQUIREMENTS (DESIRABLE)

Knowledge of Dahua/Ajax security systems and its products. Experience with planning and installing networks. A willingness to learn new technologies and systems. A good understanding of configuring network switches, routers, and Wi-Fi equipment. Experience installing and configuring CCTV equipment. A good understanding of CCTV equipment and the different types of systems available. Ability to plan and coordinate network or CCTV installs. Experience with alarm systems.
