We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Surveillance Operator to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, ensuring the safety and security of our premises. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents as they arise.
Responsibilities
Monitor live video feeds from surveillance cameras to detect suspicious activities or breaches of security.
Maintain accurate records of incidents and observations through detailed report writing.
Collaborate with security personnel to respond promptly to any security threats or emergencies.
Conduct regular checks on surveillance equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Assist in the development and implementation of security protocols and procedures.
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on site.
Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in surveillance and emergency response.
Requirements
Valid SIA CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) Licence

Previous experience in a CCTV/security environment is preferred.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
Basic IT skills and familiarity with CCTV monitoring software.
Experience
Previous experience in a surveillance or security role is preferred but not essential.
Proficiency in report writing is required, with the ability to document incidents clearly and concisely.
Knowledge of first aid practices is advantageous, contributing to a safer environment for all staff and visitors.
Familiarity with surveillance technology and systems is beneficial, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
