Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and safety standards are met Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of meals Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
