Responsibilities
Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and customer preferences
Ensure all food production adheres to health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
Collaborate with management to develop new recipes and menu items that align with current trends and customer demands
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Serve dishes to guests when required, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of diverse cooking techniques and food presentation
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Previous experience in food production, kitchen management, or hospitality is highly desirable
