Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative and efficient working environment. Develop and implement menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Train new staff members in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities, capable of motivating a diverse team. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and creativity in menu development. Previous experience in a restaurant environment is highly desirable.
